James Gooding To Compete With Kylie In Music

The Daily Mail reports James Gooding is on the brink of providing on-off girlfriend Kylie Minogue with competition in the workplace.

After receiving singing lessons from Kylie during their 2 and a half year relationship, James plans to launch a pop career.

The fellah has been spotted asking advice from the likes of Westlife.

He also has been reportedly overheard saying that he plans to give Kylie a good run for her money in the music business and see how she feels when girls throw themselves all over him. He wants to give Kylie a bit of her own medicine after she allowed Justin Timberlake to cop a feel of her infamous rear end during their duet for the Brit Awards.

Mario Loves ‘Deliver Us From Eva’

Last week, Mario caught the new flick, ‘Deliver Us From Eva’ which stars LL Cool J, Essence Atkins and Gabrielle Union.

“It’s very funny and cool. ‘Deliver Us From Eva’ is one of this year’s must watch shows. LL Cool J, Gabrielle, Meagan, Essence were all good.”

So what’s the movie about? It’s the story of three young African-American men who pay a “ladies man” played by LL Cool J $5,000 to romance their perfectionist sister-in-law played by the beautiful Gabrielle Union just so they can live their lives free of her constant meddling. The series of events that happen next surprises the men.

Meanwhile, Jami Bernard of the New York Daily News reviewed ‘Deliver Us From Eva’, giving film 2.5 stars.

Jami writes “LL Cool J attains heartthrob status in ‘Deliver Us From Eva’, which is a delightful addition to the nascent Buppie-comedy genre.”

Darius Danesh Gives His Two Cents Worth On T.A.T.U

Crooner Darius Danesh has waded into the mire of T.A.T.U. controversy, claiming that the video which features the girls kissing is an effective piece of marketing.

Talking to an online website, Darius said “I’m just amazed that marketing people hadn’t thought of it before! Come on, two teenage girls in schoolgirl outfits kissing is going have everybody watching. It’s very clever marketing.”

However, the former Pop Idol dude warned that relying on controversy to sell records could lead to disappointment.

“Gimmicks are only as strong as the artist they promote. Whether T.A.T.U. are going to be around or whether they’re one hit wonders depends on the material.”

S Club’s Jo The Gambler

S Club’s Jo O’Meara has got a bit of a gambling habit. Reports claim that the pop siren has spent about GBP4,500 on the slot machines at her local bingo hall. She has insisted, however, that she’s not an addict. It’s just for fun.

Jo suffers from a back condition which means she requires physiotherapy three times a week, and this is her reason for choosing a sit-down pastime “My back’s not too good so gambling is all I can do. I come as much as I can, a few times a week. It’s my only release and it’s an outlet for me.”

But even though she’s worth an estimated GBP500,000, she’s not just throwing her dosh away.

“I play on the fruit machine that pays out a GBP500 jackpot. I have already won the GBP500 prize nine times. I think I’ve just about broken even.”

Diva-esque Justin Timberlake Throws A Hissy Fit

Justin Timberlake recently threw a diva-esque tantrum when he appeared on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway two weeks ago after the show rolled the credits over his new single ‘Cry Me A River’.

“He really let rip in the green room afterwards. It was hilarious,” an ITV1 insider said. “He was ranting on and shouting about how there was no point in him even being there. He said he’d never go on Ant and Dec’s show again.”

“All the people he was with looked quite embarrassed and were trying to calm him down. When he finally flounced off everyone had a laugh at his expense.”

Gareth Gates Goes Bollywood, Says He Used To Have A Crush On A Hot Indian Girl

Sanjeev Bhaskar, star of the brilliantly funny ‘The Kumars At No 42’, has been helping out Gareth Gates with his new video and has given it that authentic Bollywood flavour.

The single is a cover of ‘Spirit In The Sky’ and it’s this year’s Comic Relief record. The more famous version was by ’80s novelty band, Dr And The Medics.

Sanjeev says Gareth owes it all to him “In the video, Gareth has had a bad hair day and hair is the comic relief symbol this year. So he has this dream where the Kumar family take him up to their Bollywood heaven and put his hair straight. I’ve kind of taught him everything he needs to know about the day. I taught him the dance steps, how to sing the song, a couple of comedy routines to help him put his shoes on. I think he’s coming along nicely.”Meanwhile, Gareth has gone on record to say that he used to have a crush on a beautiful Indian classmate but never had the urge to ask her out.

“She was like this Miss India contestant or something. Very pretty. And because of her, I even got hooked on Bollywood flicks which is something I miss doing now that I don’t have time. I never got round to asking her out though. Am a very shy boy.”

He also added “You must watch the video. It’s got the sexy dancers from ‘Bombay Dreams’ as well. It’s all very colourful. Hope you like it” he said, speaking to the press four days ago.
