Pink Scrapped Prague Concert

The Associated Press reports Pink scrapped plans to linger in Prague for a few days after a weekend concert, apparently because of security fears after a bomb exploded at a downtown casino, a concert organizer said Tuesday.

The bombing took place a few hours before her concert, which drew 5,500 fans, according to concert promoter Lukas Vedral.

According to her people, Pink will now next concentrate on working on new material.

Pink Hates The Gym

Pink got a laugh out of her hit ‘Get The Party Started’ being adopted by Bally Total Fitness Gyms last year and which even spawned its own class and workout video.

“I like to firstly do yoga, kickbox and play sports,” she said.

“I like to skateboard. I don’t like gyms. No offence, but I have many gay friends who love pumping up their bodies and use gyms as a meeting place to meet like minded men. It’s cool for them though but not for me. Can you imagine I’m there sweating away like a pig and these beautiful boys are in place and cavorting away? The torture really. ”

“Anyway, I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) so there is no way you could get me on a treadmill for longer than two minutes.”

Prince William Wants Pink, Emma, Mis-Teeq, Shania And More

Prince William has put together a wish list of artists he wants to appear at his party in June, which includes Shania Twain, Coldplay, Pink, Ozzy Osbourne, former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Britney Spears, Atomic Kitten, Mis-Teeq, and Will Young.

According to his people, ‘Prince William is very happy with the list he’s come up with and he just knows it’s going to be simply spectacular having it at the Windsor Castle. He also wants a party that won’t be as formal where he can let his hair down with his friends’.

‘He feels that a party with pop names performing will be much more enjoyable for his group of friends.’

Pink Prefers Nick Carter To Justin Timberlake

Pink was interviewed by reporters the other day and was asked about the supposed rivalry between Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter and all of the hype behind it.

She stated that Nick’s material is something that “everyone should listen to” and that it sounded more “real” than the music of Justin Timberlake.

She closed by saying that she was definitely supporting Nick Carter over Justin.

Britney Spears Labels Pink A Hypocrite

Britney Spears has called ‘Most Girls’ vocalistress Pink a hypocrite.

Britney hit out at the mouthy chart star saying “When I met her, she was really nice. She even sent flowers to my hotel room.”

“Then you know what, the next week she said in an interview that I’m a puppet. Obviously she has hurt my feelings.”

Pink Doesn’t Like Negativity

In an interview conducted by Blender magazine, Pink revealed she’s not into bitching about other women.

“A friend came to my house a month or two ago, and was telling me that Gwen Stefani doesn’t like me because I wore Fruit of the Looms in my video, and she thought I was biting her style” explained Pink.

“Do you know what I told my friend?” she continues. “‘You need to leave, because I don’t want negativity in my house. That’s what I said, you Know. I also told him that I’m going to have to sage my house.”

“See, I like Gwen, and he was not going to ruin that for me” revealed the ‘Most Girls’ singer. “People love to put women against each other. I’m just not into that.”

Don’t Let Pink Get Herself

I wanna be somebody else, yeah/ LA told me, “You’ll be a pop star/ all you have to change is everything you are”/ tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears/ she’s so pretty, that just ain’t me/ doctor, doctor won’t you please prescribe something/ a day in the life of someone else?/ ’cause I’m a hazard to myself.

That’s an excerpt of lyrics taken off the latest offering from Alicia Moore also more popularly known as Pink. Entitled ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’, Pink, who never had friends of her own age while growing up, has decided to release this rock sounding new cut of hers as a single, found on her ‘M!ssundaztood’ LP. ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’ is a follow-up to the smash tune ‘Get The Party Started’.Pink who grew up listening to The Supremes, Donna Hathaway and Madonna whom she actually thought was her mom for almost a year, got the world to take notice of her with that catchy song of hers, ‘There U Go’ that can be found on her debut album ‘Can’t Take Me Home’.

Her songs are no longer only about boys. On ‘M!ssundaztood’, Pink’s sophomore album, the tracks now seem to delve into family troubles, loneliness, how annoying she can be to herself and, of course, getting her party started. Most of the songs were penned by Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes fame together with Pink herself.

Interviewed a while ago about her ‘Get The Party Started’ tune, Pink said “Linda had actually written that song a week before she met me. Yeah, so I heard it, I loved it. I loved the vibe. I loved just everything about it, from the horns to the way we sang it. It’s a good song.”

‘Get the Party Started’ forms a bridge from Pink’s last album to her current LP, keeping the familiar dance feel but bidding goodbye to the R&B sound that dominated practically every single number on ‘Can’t Take Me Home’, as well as the airwaves for the past few years.
