Whitney Houston Remembered

Whitney Houston was remembered on both sides of the Atlantic on Sunday night at both the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and the Baftas in London.  Jennifer Hudson performed a fitting tribute with the track ‘I Will Always Love You’, the Dolly Parton song that Houston made famous on the soundtrack to The Bodyguard in which Whitney starred.

A Bad Week for Whitney – Tour Dates Cancelled, Drug Allegations

Poor old Whitney Houston. It’s been a really rough week for her. Things started badly on Tuesday when she had to postpone the opening of the European leg of her World Tour due to an upper respiratory infection. Naturally, the French fans were disappointed but things were looking better for the UK with the tour scheduled to start in Manchester on Thursday. However, these dates in Manchester and Glasgow have also been postponed so more fans here will have to wait until May and June to see her. To make matters worse, there have then been allegations of drugs use, which according to Whitney are “ridiculous”. We hope she gets better soon as she has such a great voice and is so very talented. Whitney Houston Readies Holiday Album

Whitney Houston will release ‘Whitney Houston One Wish – The Holiday Album’ on 18 of November.

The album contains 11 tracks, including a version of ‘Little Drummer Boy’ on which Whitney is joined by her daughter, Bobbi Kristina. The album was co-produced by Mervyn Warren and Whitney Houston.

You can expect to hear numbers like ‘The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)’, ‘Cantique De Noel (O Holy Night)’, ‘One Wish (For Christmas)’, ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, ‘O Come O Come Emanuel’, ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’, ‘The First Noel’ and et cetera.

Whitney Houston Snarled At Fans

Whitney Houston recently gave fans a real life dose of ‘Whatchulookinat’ when she and husband Bobby Brown pulled into the La Quinta Inn in Alpharetta, Georgia.

“Is it really her?” excited guests were wondering when she pulled up in a 2002 Porsche convertible.

Whitney snarled to the onlookers, “Dammit! What’s your problem? Mother fu**ers! Everywhere I go, it’s the same thing. Everybody lookin’ at me!”

Bobby hustled her onto the elevator to avoid causing an additional scene.

Whitney Houston Did Not Show Up For Music Video Shoot

New details on Whitney Houston’s upcoming album have emerged. Unfortunately, it’s not good news for Whitney fans.

The singer decided at the last minute that everything intended for her first new video in two years, ‘Whatchulookinat’, was wrong, particularly the script, so she didn’t show up to the shoot.

The song’s cold reception from radio and reviewers may mean the song won’t be the first out on her new album, an album which is being plagued by delays over Whitney missing studio appointments.

Whitney Houston And Her New Material

Whitney Houston recently got her brand new song ‘Whatcha Lookin’ At’ released. It may or may not be a Whitney’s single but whatever it is, the song will obviously be a taste of things to come from the diva and will most likely be part of the untitled album, that’s due out in mid September.

The song was leaked over New York radio, on the 10th of July. Nobody knows who leaked it.

Whitney has been the subject of gossip and rumors as her career slid. Her rocky marriage to Bobby Brown has been fodder for tabloids, and there are persistent rumors of drug abuse. Besides that, the press has been hounding her over her massive loss of weight.

A while back, Whitney told Yahoo that she doesn’t feel a need to top herself with her new material. She says she just thinks about doing quality work.
