Sky News reports that Ronan Keating may someday join his ex-Boyzone bandmate and best friend Stephen Gately in the London stage musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

“I think he would be great in the show. after all it’s aimed at kids and he’s got two of his own,” Stephen remarked.

The play’s current run interferes with his busy tour schedule, but he may take on the stage role in the future.

“Kylie said she’d heard the song and had liked it for a long time before she realized it was me,” Cookie told The Glasgow Daily Record.

“And Ronan said he couldn’t believe it. They both said it was amazing. They had never imagined I’d do it as an artist in my own right.”

Ronan Keating meanwhile, will be out with new material real soon so keep a lookout for it.

Ronan Keating And Others Had To Run Away

Ronan Keating has confessed the other day to reporters that in the early days of Boyzone, the Irish boyband had to run away from a “dodgy” hotel in London’s Russell Square without paying their bills.

“We couldn’t afford our phone bills so we chucked our bags out of the window and just ran away” Ronan admitted.

“It was not a very nice thing to do. I may want to go over there and pay them back if the place still exists”.

Ronan Keating Pities Britney And Reveals He Was A Bad Singer

Associated Press reports Ronan Keating has compassion for Britney Spears, who he sees as a victim of the media.

“I never liked being famous” he explained. “People are making downright chivvies on Popstars or Pop Idol. And, right now, it’s Britney Spears’s turn.”

“What can I say? I’m really sorry for her.”

Now that he’s reduced his own public profile from his Boyzone days, Ronan says “I’m actually pretty happy about it.”

He acknowledged that as a student, he got kicked out of the school’s choir. “I do admit it. I was a very bad singer, and probably didn’t hit any note right.”

On the question to if he ever met his music teacher again, he answered “No, but I’m sure he’s cracking up when he thinks about how my performance were back then.”

Keith Duffy Still Angry At Ronan Keating

Almost two years has passed since Boyzone split up, former member Keith Duffy says he’s still angry with Ronan Keating for refusing to tour with the group one last time.

Speaking to a magazine, Keith explained that while he, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch had planned to call it quits after a farewell tour, Ronan refused to join them, so he could concentrate on what’d become his hugely-successful solo career.

“He did pull out of it” Keith said “And I was so f***ing annoyed. We were all annoyed about it. I was just so gutted.”

However, Keith admitted his main problem with Ronan is that he isn’t the same fellow he knew a decade ago.

“I miss the guy that I was in the band with” he continued. “I don’t miss the guy he is today, because it’s not the same person as far as I am concerned. I think he kind of sees it that we’re jealous of him and I think that’s very sad.”

Ronan Lashes Out At Celebrities Who Treat Others Like Dirt

Ronan Keating has lashed-out at the sensations who surround themselves with massive entourages.

Speaking recently, the wee Irish pop star admitted that, throughout his career, he’s seen some stars treat people with very little respect and, as a result, he’s learnt a valuable lesson about dealing with people.

“When I hosted the MTV Awards a few years ago, all these stars all came along with their entourages and came in and treated the crew and their staff like dirt,” Ronan remembered, explaining, “It really opened my eyes. I don’t surround myself with people who treat me like a star. It’s unhealthy. I’ve been with the same people for nine years. They know who I am. I don’t have an entourage, which just goes to your head. I’m not interested.”

In the meantime, Ronan Keating has also revealed that the minute he quit Boyzone, he thought he’d lost all of his fans.

The crooner said “It was overnight from boyband to solo artist. The hysteria disappeared overnight. I’m not joking you, it suddenly went from being met in Bangkok or say in India by 10,000 screaming girls, to just two or three people. The funny thing is, now I sell more records now than I ever did, which is weird. People my age buy my records which didn’t really happen when I was in Boyzone. It was younger girls or older women. Now guys come up to me in the street and say ‘Hi, how’s it going. Love the record.’ Parents come up to me and shake my hand. There’s a younger audience and an older audience. Thank God, I’ve got an across-the-board fanbase.”

Ronan, whose ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ single managed to touch the desirable No. 1 slot, released his ‘Destination’ album on May 20th.
