Ex 3LW Naturi Ordered To Be A Slut

Former 3LW member Naturi Naughton is claiming in her lawsuit against the group that she was expected to do more than just sing and dance for the group. She was ordered to be a slut as well.

She says she was kept being urged to get into a romantic relationship with a member of the rap group, St Lunatics. This was to happen just so that the group would ask 3LW to tour with them.

“I felt like a big time slut. They were pressing me to get into this thing with a guy from St Lunatics. That was not how I was brought up and that is not how I would want fans to emulate just so they can get their wish.”

Meanwhile, on the other side of the camp, Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon said “Although we were not surprised that Naturi has taken legal action, we were shocked by the outrageous allegations she has made against us”.

“We look forward to handling this matter in a professional manner in a court of law.”

Naturi Leaves 3LW Due To Fights

Teen R&B/pop outfit 3LW is in a state of flux as founding member Naturi Naughton has left the group due to constant fighting sessions with fellow group members, Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon.

The group recently released ‘I Do (Wanna Get Close To You)’ featuring P Diddy and Loon, as the first single from its forthcoming set, ‘A Girl Can Mack’, which was due for release on on the 1st of October.

In addition, 3LW was scheduled to appear in the video for the new Bone Thugs-N-Harmony single, ‘Get Up And Get It’ which features their vocals, in Los Angeles in the coming few weeks.

Naturi shared that some of the tension was due to Michelle Williams, the group manager and Kiely’s mother, who often commented on her appearance and image. During the interview with radio gossip jock Wendy Williams, Naturi also mentioned that she believed plans were already in the works to replace her.

3 Little Workaholics

Dubbed 3 Little Workaholics, the girls from 3LW are so busy as they have no less than three extracurricular projects on their plate before releasing their second album, not the least of which is sure to cause quite a fuss.

Adrienne Bailon, Naturi Naughton and Kiely Williams will launch a clothing line called F.U.S.S. (Funky Urban Sassy Style) in spring 2003. Although the brand is still in its formative stages, it promises to be just as alluring as the young ladies involved in its creation.

In September, the girls said that they’ll serve as hosts for a week of programming on the UPN Network during sweeps week, introducing shows and providing some between-show banter. They added that there’s talk of them starring in their own sitcom.

Then there’s their musical tangents. In addition to providing backing vocals on Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s new single, ‘Get Up and Get It’, the ladies have lent a hand to labelmates, Best Man, singing back-up on ‘Hold Me Down’, which will appear on the latter’s as-yet-untitled album expected to drop this fall, according to an Epic spokesperson.

All this before 3LW release their new album, ‘A Girl Can Mack’, scheduled for a 24th of Spetember. Best Man reciprocates in kind, appearing on one of the album’s tracks, ‘Ain’t No Maybe’ which the girls said might just be the follow-up to their current single, ‘I Do (Wanna Get Close to You)’.

3LW Don’t Wanna Leave With Lil’ Bow Wow

3LW, the female trio made up of Naturi Naughton, Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon, are back in the studios to record their upcoming sophomore album, entitled for now ‘A Girl Can Mack’.

The girls, whose first single taken off their second LP is ‘I Think I Wanna Leave With You’, would like to set the record straight that they would date someone who’s taller than 3 feet and not Lil’ Bow Wow, who according to Kiely, 15, tried to play them out on national television. The girls have said that the album would center around a more mature theme due to the fact that they’re growing and hence expect their fans to grow up along with them too and move on to the next stages of their lives. With that in mind to combat any flak from parents who might deem their new material inappropriate for their kids, the teen trio from 3LW feel that it has been a while since the first album came out and so they’re bound to have different things to sing about.

Lyrics for the chorus of ‘I Think I Wanna Leave With You’ go something like this:

I wanna leave with you/ Do You wanna leave with me?

Their sophomore offering will most possibly be out in stores sometime in spring so fans of 3LW, do keep a look out for it then.
