Hear’Say singer Myleene Klass has been groped and beaten up by a gang of thugs before and it was just because she was in that particular pop group. When Hear’Say’s fortunes made a turn for the worse, Myleene, 23, suffered the brunt of the abuse by former fans.
Her band mate, Suzanne Shaw, 21, has spoken about the hard times too. She said “Myleene comes in the car and I look at her and she has the saddest face. I look down at her hands and they’re scratched and bruised.”
“My first reaction is, ‘That’s because of Hear’Say isn’t it?’ And it was. She got molested, she got beaten up in the street, just because she’s in a pop band. And to sit in the car and hear those stories every day. It hurts.”
Noel Sullivan, another member of Hear’Say, also suffered. “I got my face kicked in a couple of times. I don’t go into town at night now.”
Recently, Darius Danesh exposed what it was like growing up. He was tormented by racist kids during his childhood in Edinburgh during the ’90s, as they cruelly nicknamed him Saddam Hussein.
“It was during the Gulf War era and they called me Saddam” the half Iranian singer said. “I thought if only you knew what this madman has done to my family. The Iraq-Iran war was one in which I lost a lot of relatives so it’s painful.”
“Being a racist is not a kind thing to do. It can hurt and damage people, especially the young” he pleads.
British actor Rupert Everett says his mother is desperate for him to marry Madonna.
Apparently, Rupert’s mother cried buckets at the premiere of ‘The Next Best Thing’ in which he and Madge starred in.
He said “For her it was like reality TV because she could dream that Madonna was her daughter in law. She keeps asking about how Madonna is and all that.”
“Madonna and I are very good friends. I’ve got my boyfriend and she, I bet, understands that so yeah, don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon really.”
Alanis Morissette was asked how she felt about fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne being compared to her.
“She appeals to a certain group of people so that’s cool. Catchy lyrics and all that so it’s definitely rocking pop.”
When asked whether the pair talked about music during their photo shoot together in New York recently, Alanis said “We talked about it a little bit. Having been in a position similar to hers when I was younger and having been on the receiving end of a lot of people saying, ‘Call me,’ I know that the very act of expressing support can be a very sustaining thing.”
“I definitely invited her to call if ever she needed anyone to talk to, that she’s welcome to connect with me, and I send her love.”

Harvey, who was one of the celebrities at Sir Elton’s charity gig at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire last week, told the press “Yeah, I’d love to duet with him. It’ll be exhilarating. The guy’s a legend. He’s a great artist so why not?”
“He worked with Eminem at the Grammy Awards and managed to pull that off but it’s going to cost a lot of money to get Elton I estimate? I think it’ll break the bank a bit” says Harvey.

“Getting older does my head in” he says. “It gets to 4pm and I think, ‘Can I get half-an-hour’s kip before dinner?'”

Rhianna Kenny, who has been described by some to be another Kylie Minogue, recently revealed that she thinks S Club Juniors will become spoilt brats once they are much older, when she was asked by the press if she thought it was important to start out young in the music industry.
She said “It isn’t important at all. You can start off anytime. Too young and it isn’t good. I see the S Club Juniors and I think they’re going to be right brats by the time they’re 17 or something. And you’ve got to be really strong to be in this kind of environment. It can break you this industry.”Meanwhile, Rhianna, who releases her awesome sounding ‘I Love Every Little Thing About You’ on the 10th of Februaury, said that she was really glad that she learnt how the business and the whole music industry worked by constantly hanging around with her brother and his band, LSK. “When I was fifteen, I’d go on tour with them when I was still at school. I learnt how it was like in this business. I am glad to have watched what my brother did and all that.”
“And I know my brother’s really proud. It’s one of those things, your parents or siblings won’t tell you they’re proud, but then they’ll go and tell all and sing your praises to their friends. In a way it’s really good because they don’t blow my ego.”
Kylie Minogue is reportedly planning to team up with Ozzy Osbourne for a new version of her earlier hits, ‘Especially For You’.
Kylie has agreed to appear on the family’s reality TV show The Osbournes early next year.
The duet was apparently the brainchild of Ozzy’s daughter Kelly, who became close friends with the ‘In Your Eyes’ singer, when they toured America last month.
Kylie first recorded the song with her Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan back in 1989.
Despite their competition during Pop Idol, the show’s runner-up Gareth Gates is a big fan of the winner Will Young. Asked who his pop idol is, Gareth said, “Will Young, of course. I love him. It’s the way he does his own thing and the fact that he has such a unique voice. He’s an inspiration to me.”
When questioned if he was lying through his teeth, Gareth insisted he wasn’t. “Will and I are great mates. I love him genuinely and generously. We went out to a party together last night actually.”
“I’m very proud of him, he has really shone this last year, and his music is fantastic.”
