Naomi Campbell Still Loves Usher?

The New York Daily News reports that Naomi Campbell was telling pals last week that she and Usher are still together and very much in love. The supermodel even said she’ll be in Los Angeles later this month to pose with him at a cover shoot for Italy’s L’Uomo Vogue.

But Usher has personally nixed her involvement, according to a source. “Usher is scheduled to do the cover,” his representative confirmed. “They offered it to him as a solo cover.”

Changes In Store For American Idol 2005

Ryan Seacrest spoke with Entertainment Tonight about changes in season four about American Idol.

“I’m most excited about splitting up the guys and girls,” he said. “I think it really adds to the competitive edge of the show. Having guys compete on one night and girls compete on another night, eliminating those, and having the contestants that make it through appear on the show each and every week all the way to the end is probably the change I’m most excited about.”

Fox begins the season with a two-hour special on January 18 as well as a one-hour episode on the 19th. Read more and watch a video clip here.

Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey Sympathise With Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston

Singers and reality TV stars Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey sympathise with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s recent split because they’ve also suffered under the media’s scrutiny. The pop couple allowed cameras to chart the ups and downs of their marriage for the MTV reality show, Newlyweds and subsequently became victims of the public’s obsession with their private life.

But they insist Brad and Jennifer could have saved their relationship if they’d accepted fame attracts gossip and media intrusion.Jessica Simpson explains, “Fame definitely puts pressure on a marriage. Especially when so many things are untrue, it really becomes an issue. But, you know, you learn early on in this business that with success, you’re fair game to that. And you just have to learn to really have tough skin and let it just roll right off. We’ve kind of put ourselves out there for that. But it’s always a difficult thing when you hear things that are being made up.”
