The late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes will have a monument erected in her honour in the Honduran town of La Ceiba.
One third of US R&B group TLC, and rising solo star, Lisa was killed in a car crash while on holiday in Honduras last year.
The monument will be unveiled in the town where the rapper had purchased land just before she died on the 27th of May.
Hear’Say’s Myleene Klass, 23, is going back to her classical roots after signing a week back a GBP1m-plus record contract, given to her by the bosses at Universal Classics. This contract will see her having in total of six albums.
The pop vocalistress who plays the piano, violin and harp, has inked a deal which her new bosses hope will help bridge the gap between the worlds of pop and the classics.
Norfolk-born Myleene was classically educated and trained at the Royal Academy of Music.
She said “I started playing the violin and piano when I was four, then I took up the harp when I was about 11 or 12. Before I could even read I was expressing myself through music.”
Universal Classics is home to some of the greatest classical artists including Pavarotti, Bocelli and Leonard Bernstein.
Bill Holland, managing director of Universal Classics and Jazz, said “Myleene is one of the greatest talents I’ve ever heard. Her mission is to eradicate the barriers between pop and classical music with a little help from us.”

The first title from his deal with Conspiracy Entertainment, is one entitled “Mix TV Presents: Eminem” and it’s expected to debut on next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
The small games company has secured rights to publish interactive properties across multiple platforms featuring the rap artist.
“This is the first in a line of fan-appreciation titles that we’ll ship under the ‘Mix TV’ brand,” Conspiracy marketing director Vince Matthews said. “We’re positioning the brand as a fan-appreciation product.”
The game features four music videos, including “My Name Is” and “The Real Slim Shady” as well as bonus features and interactive elements featuring Eminem. Conspiracy will ship both a teen-rated version of the game, which will have radio-edit versions of the songs, and a adult-rated version with the uncut material.
In addition to the initial game, Conspiracy is collaborating with Eminem on ideas for the first next-generation video game under the deal. Matthews said ideas for the game include possibly turning “The Slim Shady Show” animated cartoon into a 3-D action video game in time for a release in late 2004.

Talking to the press, Gabriela and Monica said “They are such silly fakes. That whole lesbian thing is so made up and an act put together by their manager. Robbie Williams has his eyes set on playing the gay cowboy in a film about hit ’70s band, The Village People.
The singer has offered GBP700,000 for the movie rights, provided he gets artisitic control of the project, according to press details.
Reportedly, Robbie told a friend “The Village People were icons. They defined disco and their story is amazing. It will make a great movie”.
An film industry source said “Ever since Moulin Rouge, The Guru and Chicago, every studio in Hollywood wants to do a musical, so Robbie won’t have a hard time getting this movie financed.”
“Studio executives are sold on the idea of a Village People movie.”
Robster is hoping to play the cowboy role made famous by Randy Jones, who sang on the hits “In The Navy” and “YMCA”.
Robbie added “They may be gay and I have gay tendencies so the way I see it I think I’d do a good job of making this flick. They were great entertainers too and their story deserves to be told, so I’ll tell it.”
Scotland’s Edinburgh has officially been named as the host of one of the world’s biggest and most talked about showbiz events.
This year’s MTV Europe Music Awards will be held at the Ocean Terminal in Leith, Edinburgh.
