Nick Lachey To Drop New Album Sometime In Summer 2003

Like I reported last year, 98 Degrees’ Nick Lachey will be following in the footsteps of Nick Carter, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez to try his luck at solo commerical success.

The husband of Jessica Simpson has completed about a dozen songs for his as-yet-untitled solo album, all planned to drop this summer.

Apparently, the new material is funky and more guitar-driven than that of his group. That, according to Nick Lachey’s spokesperson.

Although one hasn’t been chosen yet, a single is expected to surface and played on radio stations in about two months time.

Nelly has been forced to pull out of performing at this year’s Brit Awards due to his sister being diagnosed with a serious illness.

Organisers say the star, who has been nominated for International Male Solo Artist, is by his sister’s bedside in America.

“Nelly loves his sister very much. He wants to spend his time with her. He is a good brother” said his spokesperson.

David Gray and Blue have now been added to the line-up of performers, which includes Pink, Coldplay, Sugarbabes, Avril Lavigne and Justin Timberlake.

Edyta, Sexy Star To Give Kylie And Holly A Run For Their Money

One of Germany’s rising stars and touted to be big all over the world is Edyta and she’s set to rock the airwaves and video screens with her brand-spanking new offering called ‘Impossible’.

Last week Edyta’s song ‘Impossible’ moved 79 places up on the German Airplay Chart, from 149 to 72! This week she’ll already be in Top 50 slots! Another rise of nearly 30 places!

Irish pop group, Fifth Avenue, which went gold in Ireland with their version of Dan Hills ‘Sometimes When We Touch’, has also just gone gold in Sweden. The group has been busy recording their up and coming album which is due for release in Ireland in the spring.

“We are really looking forward to performing back in Ireland,” band member Danny Cummins tells the press. “We are coming back with a bang and I know everyone will really like our new songs.”

Britney Spears’ New Song Lyrics About Justin

Since Justin Timberlake’s ‘Justified’ debut last November, many people have been speculating about the lyrics in the album being about his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. Now that Britney has a new album coming out, people are wondering about what she’s going to write about the N’Sync fellah.

Apparently, a fan who does not want to reveal its sources, has managed to get hold of some parts of a Britney’s new number entitled ‘Club Song’. It may just land up on her new album so here’s some of those lines to ‘Club Song’.

‘CLUB SONG’

(Britney whispers) Storytime…

(Introduction)

Once upon a time there was a little boy who tried so hard to be down/

Playing me publicly/ twisting the story see, made it the talk of the town/

I try to play sweet/ and be quite discrete/ and let you be on that level alone/

You think the @#%$’s funny/

You gave her my number/

And now I must change my tone/

I mean, you can’t play this game alone/

(Verse 1)

First things first/

(cry me.. cry me..) DONE/

Here’s a bridge to walk over it too/

Why you so caught up wit’ me? /

Sick wit’ it like you got the flu/

I’ve also got the ability to open my mouth/

You don’t want me to tell the truth/(Chant/Chorus & Teaser) watch me shake it, shake it/ watch me shake it shake it/

My little secret about you/

You sure you want me to play too?/

(b-section)

Am I supposed to cry or laugh when I witness you trying to break me off/

I recommend don’t wear anything see through baby/

They might peep that your heart is soft/

It really don’t faze me though/

Out to the clubs I go/

(Chorus)

Shake it shake it/

Uh, watch me shake it shake it/

Uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh/

Shake it shake it/

Mm, watch me shake it shake it/

Uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh/

Shake it shake it/
