Kylie Minogue Gets All Designer-ish With D&G

Pop princess Kylie Minogue has recruited top designers Dolce & Gabbana to kit her out for her sell-out tour.

Her dancers will be dressed by Agent Provocateur, the upmarket lingerie label for which Kylie appeared in a cinema ad dressed in only her undies.

The singer promised her tour would feature the most lavish concerts of her career.

Kylie said: “In the past, we’ve made many a show work with little more than pennies to rub together, so this is something of a luxury to be able to create the show we’ve only dreamt of previously.”

The shows will need a permanent touring cast of more than 100 people and has taken six months to put together.

D&G has designed Kylie’s look for the tour, which has been influenced by the futuristic styles of Star Trek, Dr Who, A Clockwork Orange and David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs.

The Italian designers said: “We like Kylie’s spontaneity, her freshness.

“Kylie is the quintessence of the contemporary artist and her music and style capture the essence of the Dolce & Gabbana look – glamorous, hyper-feminine and modern.”

The pint-sized singer, whose single Can’t Get You Out Of My Head was one of last year’s biggest sellers, will be flanked by a troupe of scantily-clad dancers.

Kylie will be performing songs from throughout her career for her Fever 2002 shows.

Want A Kylie?

Thousands of women, all majorly inspired by her perfect derriere, are apparently rushing like crazy to their plastic surgeons asking for a “Kylie”.

Miss Minogue however, has dissed all reports that state she had her rear end artificially modified.Kylie’s bottom, which shot to fame clad in gold hot pants in the ‘Spinning Around’ video, is one hundred percent natural according to her people and the pop princess has every aim of cashing in on it while it is in its prime.

Kylie who wants Dolce & Gabbana to do her outfits for her upcoming tours, said “You never know what the future holds. My rear end could become a pear rapidly.”

Meanwhile, in other news pertaining to the ‘In Your Eyes’ songstress, Kylie has said that she intends to marry her Essex-born model of a boyfriend James Gooding.

Today Is Kylie Fever Day

Today sees the long-awaited release of Kylie’s hit album “Fever” in the United States.

The album has already gone double-platinum in the UK alone, and according to our sources, the initial pressings will contain two extra bonus tracks – “Boy” and “Butterfly”.

The full tracking listing is as follows:More More More

In Your Eyes At Number Three

Kylie has gone straight into this week’s UK Top 40 chart at Number Three.

Her single, “In Your Eyes”, didn’t quite sell enough to beat Westlife with their new track “World Of Our Own”. Westlife knocked Enrique Iglesias off the top spot, after being there for 4 consecutive weeks with “Hero”.

Still, Kylie’s peformance at last week’s Brit awards should give us some idea of what to expect in her upcoming UK tour, and we doubt very much that fans will be dissapointed.

Well done Kylie!

Kylie Wins Best International Album

Kylie Minogue put on an excellent show at this year’s Brit awards, which were held in London last night. Her performance went down a real treat with the audience.

She received the award for Best International Album for “Fever”, which is due to be released in the US on Tuesday. She also perfromed her hit single “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”, dressed in a bodiced microdress and silver boots. A hit indeed.

Well done Kylie!

Nicole Kidman Can’t Get Kylie Outta Her Head

Nicole Kidman, Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee for her role in ‘Moulin Rouge’, wants to duet with fellow Australian beauty Kylie Minogue. Kylie, of course appeared in a blink-and-you’ll-miss role as the green fairy in the motion picture too.

Nicole, who can soon be seen in her new movie ‘Birthday Girl’ about a mail-order bride, has expressed her eagerness to croon again after her singing stints in ‘Moulin Rouge’ and her Christmas UK chart success with Robbie Williams on a cover of Frank and Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Something Stupid’. “I want to make at least one record with her,” says Nicole. “I love her work and her music. I’m knocked out she’s breaking into the States and I know we could get on, and hey, she’s another Aussie.”

Kylie Minogue, on the other hand, has not replied to Nicole’s statement at the time this news piece was written. Kylie right now is in the US of A and inching her way to their top spot on their charts with that massive smash tune ‘Can’t Get You Outta My Head’. Her current single right now in the UK, ‘In Your Eyes’ is doing pretty well and may repeat the same success she had with her previous catchy number and stay on the No.1 position for weeks.

If Kylie and Nicole do collaborate and give the world a single, you just know it’s going to be big.

Kylie Breaks Billboard!

Kylie has finally broken into the US Top 20 Billboard chart for the first time since 1989.

Her single “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” has stormed up to number 20, despite only being available in the US on a 12″ Single. Why it hasn’t been released as a proper CD single, we don’t know! The single has been on the Billboard chart for 4 weeks, and last week saw her appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Her album “Fever’ is due in stores on February 26th.
