Hazel Kaneswaren Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Pregnant Popstars reject Hazel Kaneswaren has become a mum. Hazel gave birth to a baby boy weighing 8lbs 4ozs, at a hospital in her hometown of Dublin.

The 25 year old woman became an overnight star after auditioning for TV’s Popstars The Rivals while eight months pregnant.

Hazel said “I’m absolutely exhausted, it was quite a long labour, but I’m absolutely delighted. I’ve got a beautiful, healthy baby boy. It’s all been worth it.”

Her long term partner and father of her son, Bryan, was at the bedside at the National Maternity Hospital.Hazel won an army of admirers, including judges Geri Halliwell and Louis Walsh, when she sang Joan Armatrading’s ‘Love and Affection’ at the Glasgow Auditions in August.

Despite objections from the other judge Pete Waterman, she was chosen to go through to the next round of auditions and made it through to the final 10, five of which will form two rival boy and girl bands.

But the striking Hazel was later booted off the show for being 10 days too old. All the contestants had to be 24 or under on 1st of July.

Hazel later said it was a relief to be out of the girl group and would continue to pursue her dreams of stardom despite becoming a new mum.

“After I have given birth and rested for a few months I’m going to start a solo career,” she said after being rejected from the show.

Louis Walsh Sad That Hazel Kaneswaran Has Dropped

Popstars The Rivals judge Louis Walsh is extremely unhappy Hazel Kaneswaran has been dropped from the show for being ten days too old.

Hazel was told earlier this week she was being dropped from the final ten girls because she was out of the age range of the group.

Viewers will see Louis and fellow judge Geri Halliwell tell her the news in a special show on Sunday night. But Louis has criticised the show’s producers over the decision saying it was “a way to get rid of her”.

“Hazel is tremendously talented and deserves to be in the girl band” he tells reporters.

“She was in the final ten, then at the last minute producers found an excuse to get rid of her.”

Hazel told the paper “Well, rules are rules and it is horrible that I can’t be in the show for the final but I am determined now to make it on my own”.

It’s believed record label, Polydor are considering offering her a record deal but nothing’s confirmed yet.

Pregnant Hazel May Get Solo Record Deal

Popstar hopeful Hazel Kaneswaran has been ousted from the show for being too old.

Hazel, who is due to give birth any day, is 10 days too old for the show.

Viewers will see her make it into the final ten girls in this Saturday’s show. But an extra show will be screened on Sunday with judges Geri Halliwell and Louis Walsh flying to Dublin to tell Hazel she has been axed.

Contestants have to be aged between 16 and 24 on July 1, but Hazel turned 25 on June 20 reports the papers.

Reports are fast emerging that suggest record company Polydor is now thinking about offering Hazel a solo recording contract.

From what I’ve heard about the girl, I think she truly deserves it.

Pregnant Mom Hazel Kaneswaran Has Got Into Popstars’ Final 20

Pregnant pop wannabe Hazel has made it through to the finals, according to the papers the other day.

The 23 year old stirred up tension between the judges when she originally auditioned, with Pete trying to rule her out because her baby is due on the 2nd of October.

Louis and Geri campaigned for her, however, and she made it through to the final 100. In Saturday’s episode, she was seen surviving into the final 50. Now insiders say that she has gotten into final 20.

“Hazel’s one of the girl finalists, and it looks like she’s going to end up in the group itself. Louis and Geri are just mad about her” one told the newspaper.

Pregnant Singer Impressed Popstars’ Judges

This one’s interesting.

A pregnant woman has got through to the second round of Popstars: The Rivals.

Hazel Kaneswaran from Dublin is seven months pregnant, but sources claim she impressed the judges tremendously and immensely at her audition in Glasgow.

The show is to end around Christmas 2002 when the two winning bands go head to head for the Christmas No 1 slot. That means that she is due to give birth while the series is filming. Cute!

A spokesperson for the show said that it makes ‘no difference’ to them that she is pregnant.

“So what, she’s pregnant? It makes no difference really. Hazel was selected for the next rounds because she had a dazzling voice” said an insider.

It’s definitely an episode not to be missed.

Well – all the best to you Hazel, with regards to your singing and your baby.

Think before you pick on simon cowell

Hi! One important thing to remember when dealing with the subject of simon cowell. He is being paid to be an jerk.

I think much of it is a paid performance. He is being paid for his opinion. Also, I can see were he and Ms.Abdule would not get alonge.

I have a strange feeling that there is something much shadier than her belly dancer style clothes lerking in her seas.

Often times, the good are made out to be the iditos. While the bad pose as the angels. Look a little closer folks. The picture will become pretty clear.
