Star magazine reports that Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter was jealous of Nicole Ritchie’s friendship with his ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton and tried to railroad their friendship.

“Nick was tring to turn Paris against Nicole. He was always jealous of their friendship,” a source revealed.

“In fact, most of Paris and Nicole’s fights had to do with Nick’s behavior.”

Nick Carter Speaks Out About His Split From Paris Hilton

Nick Carter has spoken out about his split from girlfriend Paris Hilton, complaining the pair couldn’t trust each other.

Speaking exclusively to America’s People magazine, the 1/5 of Backstreet Boys insists the split was mutual, despite his socialite ex’s claims she called the romance off after advice from a psychic.

Nick says, “Our relationship totally was based on distrust. She didn’t trust me. I didn’t trust her. We both got on the phone, had a discussion and agreed we couldn’t do this anymore. I just want everybody to know that I’m single and ready to have fun again. I’m a wild and crazy guy.”

Meanwhile, Nick Carter insists he doesn’t regret having Paris’ name tattooed on his wrist three weeks ago because he’ll always love The Simple Life star.

He adds, “She’ll have a place in my heart, always.”

Nick Carter Dated Sex Scandal Teacher

The National Enquirer reports that Debra Lafave, the sexy blonde teacher whose scandalous relationship with a 14 year old student has shocked America, has another surprising secret in her past.

She dated Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.

“Nick was almost a year older than Debbie,” a friend revealed. “He didn’t go to East Bay High, but everybody knew who he was because his singing career with the Backstreet Boys was starting to go places. He and Debbie were together all spring and through the summer of ’95 whenever he was in town. They were always holding hands, kissing and whispering to one another.”

Do Nick Carter And Justin Timberlake Hate Each Other?

In an interview with a webzine, Nick Carter said, on hating and constantly getting compared with Justin Timberlake “No, I don’t hate him. Musicwise,I think, honestly, he wants to do R&B and I want to do rock.”

Nick added “We both have something to prove. He’s got more going for him at the moment, but that’s okay. I want to sweat. I don’t want it to be easy. I don’t want people to necessarily like me in the beginning. I like being the underdog.”

Justin also spoke up saying “I’m totally indifferent about that whole situation. I’m indifferent about him. Obviously, I’ve answered so many questions about my personal life. I wish him the best. As far as anybody comparing the two of us at this point, I feel like it’s kind of lazy. You can tell that we’re two totally different artists. It’s like comparing Coldplay to The Vines.”

Personally, I’ve always found that both Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter can’t seem to stand each other’s guts. And this was way back when they first burst onto the scenes with their groups, N’Sync and the Backstreet Boys respectively. They were like the baby of the groups and I guess the press loved comparing them and making it seem like they hate each other and all. I think that kind of stuck.

Nick Carter’s next single is called ‘Do I Have To Cry For You’ and it might be re-recorded in Spanish.

Backstreet Boys Have Not Split Up

The Backstreet Boys aren’t about to break up, a spokesperson has confirmed.

Rumours of a supposed split emerged after it was revealed that Nick Carter is currently working on some solo material. In addition, a message appeared on the boyband’s official website, www.backstreetboys.com, which read: “The Backstreet Boys website is currently on hiatus, and no more memberships will be accepted.”

However, a spokeswoman for the boys has poo-poohed the rumours, telling an UK music website that “The website is on hiatus because the band are working on new material. They’re planning to release a new album and are working on individual projects as well.”

The group’s fifth studio album will be ready later in the year and is to be produced by the likes of Jermaine Dupri and Glen Ballard, in an attempt to compete with their US rivals N’Sync, who have gained a lot of credibility since moving in a more urban-flavoured musical direction.

Ask me and I say N’Sync beats the Backstreet Boys hands down, man.

Backstreet Boys Back In The Studios

The Backstreet Boys are back in the studios to record their fifth album, according to Jermaine Dupri who spilled the beans the other day on ‘The Jay Leno Show’.

According to J.D who is best known for writing catchy hit singles for the likes of Usher, Da Brat and Lil Bow Wow, it is indeed true that the boys, whose last album was the successful ‘Millennium’, are shifting towards a different sound because he’s about to head back to the studios with them and work.Meanwhile, articles depicting the group in crisis talks have been dismissed by Backstreet Boys’ record company.

Jive Records have also said to fans of the ‘Drowning’ hitmakers not to believe the write-ups stating that Nick Carter, ex-boyfriend of Willa Ford, has split away from the boyband and is recording material of his own.
