It might seem super hard to believe it, but pretty pop princess Kelly Clarkson has admitted that she’s never been in love. The 25 year-old Idol winner spills all in this month’s issue of Elle Magazine in the US, where she is featured on the cover. She said “I know people probably think I’ve been heartbroken, because of the stuff I’ve sung and written. I love my friends and family. But I have never said the words ‘I love you’ to anyone in a romantic relationship. Ever. I am very old-school, conservative in my thinking when it comes to relationships. Love is something you work at. It doesn’t come easily. There are going to be bad days. You are going to have to work at loving someone when they are being an idiot. People think they’re just going to meet the perfect guy. Don’t be ridiculous.”
Poor old Kelly has been going through a rough time recently. There’s been a run in with Clive Davis over her upcoming CD, “My December”, where he allegedly made an offer of $10 million if Kelly ditched five of her songs for more radio-friendly. In the meantime, expect to see Kelly in a city near you as she travels across the US this summer as part of her tour.
Pop starlet Rihanna certainly seems to be one of the most favourite stars in the UK at the moment. Not only did she soar to number 1 on the UK singles charts based on downloads alone, but she’s kept the top sport for 4 consecutive weeks. And this weekend the Barbados-born 19-year-old’s third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, entered the UK Album Chart straight in at number one!
Meanwhile, those legs of hers have also taken top spot – Rihanna has won Venus leg razor’s ‘Celebrity Legs of a Goddess’ award. Check out those award winning pegs in her Umbrella Video next:

Lily Allen says that the stresses of being on tour have made her turn to drink. She said “I’m an alcoholic now. It’s not good and that’s why I want to get back into the studio. I’ve actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up. I’ve got to stop abusing myself because as far as I’m concerned every loon hates me now.” Even her actor Dad, Keith Allen, is said to be very worried about her.
But there are signs of hope that she’ll be back in England and settling down to “normal” life again very soon. She’s just splashed out GBP 600,000 on a new home in Hackney, East London. She’s set to move in to the new Victorian property with her boyfriend, record label A+R man Seb Chew. And don’t forget that you can also catch Lily at Glastonbury (June 22 to 24).
George Michael has had to cancel this evening’s concert in the Czech capital after a truck carrying special equipment for use in the show crashed on the way to the city. The truck was traveling through Romania but it’s not been possible to recover the gear in time for this evening’s performance. George, who was not involved in the accident, is said to be very disappointed about not being able to perform tonight. There’s no word as yet as to when the show will be rescheduled.
